Lors de la création d'une fonction ou d'un déclencheur, vous pouvez trouver sa commande de création dans sys.sql_modules

Mais ce que je n'arrive pas à trouver, c'est la même chose pour les UDT.

Quand je crée un type comme celui-ci

CREATE TYPE dbo.UserIds AS TABLE (value int NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY);

Il n'apparaît pas dans sys.sql_modules.

Les seules informations que je peux trouver proviennent de sys.types

select * from sys.types where is_user_defined = 1

Mais il n'y a pas d'instruction SQL. Alors, où puis-je le trouver?

Les types et les UDT n'apparaissent ni dans sys.objects ni dans sys.sql_modules, simplement parce qu'ils ne sont pas des modules mais des types.

Pour obtenir le script d'un UDT, vous devez joindre sys.types avec sys.schemas, sur le champ schema_id. et vous devez encore faire une analyse et une conversion, je suppose.

Il n'est pas si simple d'obtenir une définition de type, vous pouvez vous le prouver en lançant Profiler et en demandant à SSMS de générer un script en tant que CREATE pour votre type.
